Dear Pastors and Supporting Friends:
We are so thankful the the Lord allowed us to have summer camp this summer, although we had to cancel our Ladies’ Retreat because of concerns about the pandemic. We were down in attendance for Junior Week but at full capacity for Teen Week.
Evangelist Caleb Reed was a tremendous blessing during those two weeks, and there were many life-changing decisions by the young people, including decisions to accept Christ as Savior. We are also very grateful to God for a dedicated staff.
We are looking forward to the Men’s Retreat next month with Pastor Philip Bishop from Alexandria, VA, as our speaker. What a blessing he was last year, challenging us to not only be men, but to be men of God.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we will continue our preparation for this event. As we did with youth camps, we are asking those who show any symptoms of the virus or have had any known contact with an infected person to not attend. We will also be checking those who come to the retreat for symptoms of the virus.
Our theme for this year continues to be “Rescue 911.” If you haven’t noticed, we have a great need for revival among God’s people. Our nation is in need of being rescued. Let us pray for revival at our Men’s Retreat.
