March 2026

March 9, 2026 By Wildwood

We are delighted to share what God continues to do here at Wildwood. We closed out 2025 with our Winter Retreat, and the Lord truly blessed. Pastor Bosler did a wonderful job challenging and encouraging the young people in their walk with God. The Lord spoke to many hearts, and several important decisions were made. The young people were also able to enjoy something that has been missing the past several years—snow! Despite the cold temperatures, they had a great time with outdoor activities, including the infamous “suba-tubing”, only this time we used a Ford.

We are looking forward to the upcoming camp season and are excited to welcome several new speakers who we hope will be a blessing to you and your young people. This year we shortened work week to Monday -Thursday and are allowing for more recovery time in the evenings. Please check our website for the latest information about upcoming events.

2026 Schedule of Events
Work Week — April 13–16
Ladies’ Retreat — May 15–16
College & Career Retreat — May 28–30
Junior Camp — July 6–10
Teen Camp — July 13–17
Men’s Retreat — September 11–12
Winter Retreat — December 28–30

In December we were also able to make another payment toward the acreage the camp is purchasing, bringing us officially to the halfway point, with $48,000 still remaining. We are currently two years ahead of schedule, and we praise the Lord for those who have sacrificially given.

Many of you have heard that the two camp tractors were stolen last November. We continue to pray that God would allow them to be recovered, but we are preparing to purchase replacement equipment. These tractors were essential for maintaining the driveway, mowing, clearing brush, digging trenches, and many other camp needs. We estimate that $23,000 will be needed to purchase one tractor with a backhoe. Just yesterday God miraculously provided $15,000 toward this need. In addition, someone from the community plans to donate a tractor to the camp for mowing. We are so humbled by what God is doing. Prior to the theft we had begun plans to build a storage building and garage for our equipment. This would help secure equipment and provide much-needed storage space. We estimate the cost to be approximately $60,000. I started clearing a place for the building site last Saturday.

Another recent answer to prayer was the provision of a free piano, which is in much better condition than our previous one.

Work week this year will include a variety of projects, such as exterior painting, general maintenance, cleaning, driveway repairs, brush removal, and tree trimming. If you plan to attend, please let us know so we can make arrangements for your stay and be better prepared with work assignments.

As I recently prayed over the needs of the camp, the Lord directed my heart to Matthew 17:20: “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed… nothing shall be impossible unto you.” I am thankful to serve the God of the impossible. The same God who healed the lunatic son, delivered the maniac of Gadara, calmed the raging seas, fed the multitudes, and raised the dead is the same God we serve today.

Please join us in praying that God will continue to bring many victories in 2026 for His glory.

Joel Marshall
